The funeral convoy left the Arlington Memorial Chapels in Araneta Avenue at around 9:45 a.m. Saturday and arrived at ABS-CBN around 10 a.m. Deramas’ remains were welcomed by his friends and colleagues in the entertainment industry. He will be laid to rest on Sunday at the Himlayang Pilipino. Best known as a film and TV director, Deramas started his career as a production assistant, and also worked as a writer and executive producer.
